The Vistula, the Brda, and the Noteć are rivers that offer unique and unforgettable landscapes. Their location at the intersection of the international waterways E40 and E70 makes this area especially inviting to reach by water and experience a true adventure.
To ensure the voyage is safe and comfortable, it is worth preparing properly in advance.
The Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, according to the water-based administrative division, is partially under the jurisdiction of the Regional Water Management Authorities (RZGW) in Bydgoszcz and Gdańsk.
Noteć Water Region (RZGW in Bydgoszcz) – part of the Oder River basin, which includes, among others, the Bydgoszcz Canal. Current navigation notices can be found at:

The simplest solution is to use a maps application. A dedicated app as part of the Virtual River Information System has been launched by Polish Waters (Wody Polskie). The application shows, among other things, any obstacles on the planned route and also allows you to purchase lock passage tickets online.
The Virtual River Information System (WIR) is a response to the needs reported by citizens and businesses regarding services related to the use of inland waterways. The aim of the project is to provide public services delivered electronically, which contribute to improving the quality and efficiency of inland navigation services provided by the State Water Holding Polish Waters (Wody Polskie).
